About Us

Tom accepted Christ in 1992 and Maureen in 1989.  We accepted the call to Friuli-Venezia Giuli, Italy on March 12, 2006 and are pleased to announce our new ministry positions with Saints Equipped to Evangelize (S.E.E.).  We are both members of the McGregor Baptist Church in Ft. Myers, Florida. 

Our church service includes working with High School and College & Career Sunday school classes, being members of the Mission Team, and board members of Reciprocal Ministries International.  We have been on numerous short term mission trips to Haiti, Guatemala, and Italy. 

Our Christian development includes studying at Saints Bible Institute and Reformed Theological Seminary as well as numerous bible study courses.

Our professional background has been in the automobile industry for 25+ years.  Tom has been a General Manager for several franchises and is currently employed as a consultant and educator.  Maureen has held management and teaching positions and is currently a self-employed educator.

Tom - Administrator of Italian Ministries

Job Responsibilities:  Assisting the Director in all aspects of Italian Ministries, including coordination of evangelism teams, student trip logistics, mentoring U.S. college students, working with Saints Bible Institute, church planting, and ESL.

Maureen – English as a Second Language Instructor

Job Responsibilities:  Teaching ESL for the purpose of evangelism, mentoring U.S. college students, working with Saints Bible Institute, church planting, and leading women Bible studies.

Whom shall I Send?

In April, 2005, we visited Saints Equipped to Evangelize in San Lorenzo, Italy.  While there, we learned of the spiritual need and the lack of resources to meet that need.  After our visit, we felt God’s increasing call to Fruilia-Venezia Giuli.  After much prayer and petition, we accepted that call.  We believe that God has called us to this mission and plan to serve here for the next 10 years.

We have been on numerous mission trips to Haiti and always thought God would eventually send us there.  In Haiti, the need is great both spiritually and financially, but the workers are many.  In Italy, the need is great spiritually, but the workers are few.  We realize that God has called us to a place where people do not see or understand their own spiritual depravity.  Although Haiti was like digging in sand, Italy is like digging amongst the rocks.

Our role is to not only witness to the Fruilians, but also come alongside American college students who are studying here.  We believe our previous church service has prepared us for our mission here.
